We loved working with our client Dresses.ie on an exciting fashion show on Wednesday, March 2nd, that showcased their gorgeous new Spring ’16 collection. The event took place in Sam’s Bar, Dawson Street, and guests, which included a host of popular media, influencers, and bloggers were treated to a Parisian themed breakfast.
The S16 showcase was presented by top Irish stylist Brian Conway. Leading hair stylist Dylan Byrne of TONI&GUY and makeup artist, Sue Doyle of Stila, styled each of Ireland’s top models showcasing the looks. These included Thalia Heffernan, Teodora Sutra, Raine Borges, Joanne Northy and Grace O’Mahony. Tunes were spun by top Dublin and Berlin DJ, Sinead Meaney.
Following the runway show, the guests were invited to take a look at the new collection in the luxury boutique section on the upper mezzanine of Sam’s Bar, where they were gifted with a voucher, and invited to try on their favourite pieces. There were iPads on hand, providing the guests with the perfect opportunity to order their favourite items then and there.
The Spring ’16 collection from Dresses.ie is one of their most dynamic and fashion forward to date. Moving away from offering dresses alone, the brand now stocks a range of amazing separates, including jackets, co-ordinates and trousers. Placing themselves at the forefront of the sports-luxe trend for SS16, the S16 Dresses collection features an amazing celebrity-inspired Khaki Bomber jacket which is selling fast and proving very popular with customers. The new collection also features lots of pastels and trendy boho-inspired prints and lace, with hot new pieces being added to the website every week.
The event was a resounding success, and we are thrilled that the event hashtag, #S16Dresses, trended for half the day on Twitter, along with the Dresses.ie account itself, @DressesIRL, sparking continued conversation about both the brand and the new looks all throughout the day.
