Client News: Delicious New Menu at Exchequer Wine Bar

The Exchequer Wine Bar and Restaurant Ranelagh have launched a brand new menu for spring 2018 which has been created by Head Chef Marty Montgomery, with a focus on the best local produce.

The Exchequer Wine Bar in the popular urban village of Ranelagh has become a regular hotspot for Dublin foodies. Head Chef Marty Montgomery, has designed his latest menu with an emphasis on rich flavours whilst utilising natural local ingredients to offer patrons a fresh dining experience. The focus at The Exchequer Wine Bar has become the “local neighbourhood restaurant” and the menu focuses on appealing to the existing clientele while also offering something exciting to new patrons.

Guests can enjoy starters such as beef cheek spring roll with celeriac remoulade and a special dipping jus, making for a sumptuous first course. Other starters include a delicately cooked confit of breaded rabbit leg with a tangy Korean sauce or fresh scallops in a beautiful seashell with rich vermouth sauce. The starters alone showcase the variety on the menu and the attention to detail when it comes to flavour. A plethora of delicious main courses are available for patrons, a stand out dish being the duck breast with fondant potato, orange, fresh baby vegetables and crushed pistachio adding a new layer of taste to one of Ireland’s favourite fowl dishes. To finish off the sumptuous experience there is a variety of desserts on the menu include a torte caprese, sticky toffee pudding or a selection of Irish artisan cheeses.

After dinner, patrons can enjoy a selection from the award-winning sommelier and mixology team. The cocktail menu offers much loved classics with a twist such as the smoky old fashioned, margarita and many more. The Exchequer Wine Bar have a varied gin menu, offering something for every gin fanatic, and the perfect refreshing drink to enjoy after a meal on the private, intimate terrace. The Exchequer Wine Bar is renowned for its selection of top shelf wines and these are made even more accessible with 30% off all wines every Monday and Tuesday evening.
